Also, challenge cards don't seem to show up in mobile, just the name, which is very unclear

Long tap (in this case, the challenge card name) to check tooltips in mobile

Long tap works on mobile sort of. However it is not intuitive and I "tested" challenge mode for the first time today. Now that I know what to look for I can find the information (found out about long taping on this report) My experience in the game was: after I started the game drew something that then just did noting from what I could see. Then when i won the game, it did not actually end, could not figure out what was wrong. Then I just lost the game. So in short horrible for new players. Why not have the cards visible as default, but can be hidden in setting. That way new players can find the information and experienced players can hide it.

Quick tip for next time: If you check the game log, it explicitly tells you that "game end was prevented by such-and-such challenge card."

1. You opted for a challenge card when you started the game
2. The challenge card was listed with all the game information in the panel the entire game.
3. If you still ignored 1 and 2, the log displayed it as well

It seems like you wanted a challenge card, then decided to ignore the fact that you had taken one. It was there all game to look at. It prevented you from winning and the game even told you about it.

When playing on mobile the challenge card only shows the title.

Getting the description to show is impossible for me (hovering is not an option on mobile and long pressing will open the sprite sheet used for this game).

As the official site doesn't show the challenge cards (only local, global and crisis are on daybreakgame.org/explore-cards) it really would be a great QoL if the mobile players would be able to know what the challenge card condition is (from inside the game)

I'm on mobile right now and I can confirm long-pressing does show the full description. This matches the repbrts from other mobile players, who are actually the majority of players for this game. You're not the exception; you're the majority.

If long pressig is working for everyone except you, we need to figure out what is different for you. Perhaps you could try a different browser?

I must be doing something wrong in my Google Chrome app (version 134.0.6998.33, iOS 18.3.1)

Will test on a different browser as soon as I remember the password to my account :p

Tried long-pressing challenge cards on Firefox mobile app v136.3

No popup box with the challenge card text. It just selects the title text (similar to i.imgur.com/jHnjHZH.png)

Might this be an iphone thing? I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 18.3.2)

If you click/tap the challenge card, you will now see the description in a dialog.

Thank you forimplementing this. A great QoL improvement.

Just one remark: if you take a global AND local challenge card, regardless of which you tap it always shows the global cgallenge's description.
