We played 2 times as 4 players and all of us, thought the same thing. It would be great to add those buttons.

If you select a die, you can easily change your mind and select a different one using the Cancel button. If there are complex chained actions, there's already an Undo button. If there was always an Undo button, there would always have to be an additional dialog where you could confirm the move or undo it. That would slow down the game considerably. I understand your wish, but I think the game is already well balanced. And it would be a hell of a lot of work for me. ;-) cu on bga

I wonder why the most popular games on bga have such support though? If you feel so strongly that it would slow down games, then let it have it be a user option for the feature (ala Terra Mystica, although that is implemented to support other objectives), you can even set it to default off

It sounds like the game's code wasnt designed with such support in mind. Please take this in mind next time when designing future projects because one more click of a button doesn't take that much time (for the players) vs spending the rest of a game filled with regret. I will likely not be playing this in the future due to the frustration, so, good job?

@ReltzSev: Please give me a concrete example in the game, where you missed the undo button. In most complex cases there is an undo button. For normal standard action I cannot see the advantage of an undo button.

Have a look at the BGA Undo policy for developers: "Introducing "Undo" features in games can lead to bugs and/or bad interface design." .. "As a rule of thumb, on BGA we advise you to not undo moves."

If you have concrete example, where you really need an undo, I will think about it...

An example that hit me several times is miss-clicking selecting a card from a tower. Things like this can always happen in a board game UI.

It's amazing that BGA allows games to go out of alpha without undo/confirm, that some companies forbid it, that BGA says that it can lead to bugs and bad interface design, and that developer ask for concrete examples.

I know that it was the number one reason I stopped being premium, and I know that I'm not the only one.

Sad sad sad.
