Ok so what are you suggesting ? Keep in mind there can be 8 workers, 4 mechs and 1 character on a single celle.

The problem is the move action, you have to be able si select an individual worker/mech

When it is my turn focus on my home base so I can see the 5 hexes closest and then be able to pan to other places.

There is too much wasted space on the right side of the game board. This can be off the board to give more room for zooming the rest of the board. It is also very hard to see what is going on down on the board.

Not really, since they are all the same, you should only need to be able to specify which type you wanna move.

The suggestion to use numbers is good and allows for bigger units

They are not all the same, some may have moved, some others may have remaining moves, and that can be a crucial information

I find the game nearly unplayable in its current form due to the tiny size of the icons, unfortunately.

Zooming in works, but then of course I can only see a small part of the map. (Also, for some reason the Zoom seems to shift between zoomed all the way out and super close in with no in between--I'm not sure if that's intentional.)

I wonder if a solution could be to show the icons at 2-3x their current size when zoomed out, with numbers to indicate quantities. Then when a move action is triggered, the icons could be temporarily expanded in a box or something that allows for more space.

@walkie : that's something I thought about and could be indeed some compromise, even if that will imply more clicks for the move action

Have a look at how the Scythe app gets around this problem. As Walkie says it is nearly unplayable in this form

The Scythe app use exactly the same assets, I took them from here, and at the same size as well !!
The only difference is that it switch to 3d and minis once you zoom in.

I would add that the choice of font makes it near impossible to tell between a 0 and an 8 or a 6 sometimes.
The font should be a clear and legible font.
Perhaps it is the size, but i have to magnify my screen to about 150% in the browser to read it correctly.

Please stop posting various thing here, it's impossible to track and almost useless as feedback for us.
Please create ONE suggestion PER item, for instance one called "add a setting to change the font", etc

The playing area is too small and difficult to move and enlarge the map. This could be overcome by the mats sliding away to increase the size of the map. , and recalled when needed.

The second issue is the game could benefit from names been on the faction mat - like in the live game.
