The game already enforces delivery before city actions. If you wish to skip delivery, you can do a city action straight away. If you do want to deliver, you must do that first.

On top of all this, we've included a robust undo system. If you really meant to deliver first, you can undo back to that point. No need for an additional layer of confirmation.

Personally, I believe this confirmation message is necessary.

I consider myself to be a relatively cautious player of turn-based games, yet I still forgot to deliver once. Specifically, this happened during the first move of game #514151003, when I used a city action to discard my cards and gain 4 doubloons. This was the biggest and simplest mistake I've ever made.

Given the current specifications, I feel that mistakes like this will inevitably occur in situations where there are few actions to perform and I'm deliberating which disc to remove. This is because I progress without having time to go back.

A simple message would suffice, but could you display a confirmation message when a player performs city actions without delivering? Making a mistake early in the game makes the rest of it quite painful, and I think this confirmation message could significantly reduce such errors. What do you think?

Again, I feel this is necessary because there are situations where there are few actions to perform.

Notably, you can still undo when you have done what you describe. Only if you end your turn completely or somehow draw a card / start combat without delivering will you be locked in.

Yes, my point is that with the current system, there are situations where a single click of the end turn button after a mistake makes it impossible to undo, which is not ideal. My initial suggestion was to display a confirmation message particularly if there is only one step available, as having just one step significantly increases the likelihood of making mistakes. Maracaibo is a game with a lot of information to consider, and this doesn't help.

Of course, I think your program has many wonderful aspects, and this feedback is not meant to negate that. If it's difficult to make improvements from a cost-effectiveness standpoint, we will need to be even more careful to avoid mistakes while playing.

We need to balance the ease of play with the confirmations.

In our view, that end turn button IS the confirmation. There's a robust undo system to allow you to undo any mistake. We've replaced the automated end-of-turn with the confirmation "End Turn" button, so the player has a chance to take one last look at the results of his decisions before confirming and ending his turn.

Once you've confirmed that and a new player's turn has started, it's too late to undo, of course. But adding a second "End Turn" confirmation seems redundant (and risks people asking why there isn't a third, etc.).
